Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all treatments and services at Kurlz. By making an appointment, the client declares to have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.

1. General,

1.1. These General Terms and Conditions apply to the formation and execution of all agreements between Kurlz and the client.

1.2. A maximum of one additional person may accompany the client to the appointment.

1.3. If desired, a hijab-proof treatment can be provided. This must be indicated in advance; when making the appointment, please enter this as a remark.

1.4. Male clients must contact us in advance by e-mail to schedule an appointment.

2. Formation of the agreement,

2.1. The agreement is concluded after the client requests a treatment and Kurlz confirms to carry it out.

3. Obligations of Kurlz,

3.1. Kurlz guarantees that treatments are performed professionally with sound products and resources.

3.2. Kurlz informs the client about the nature, expected results, and possible risks of the treatment.

3.3. Kurlz does not perform treatments that fall outside its professional competence.

4. Obligations of the client,

4.1. The client provides all information necessary for the correct execution of the treatment.

4.2. Specific wishes must be communicated prior to the treatment.

4.3. The client is responsible for providing correct information about allergies, medical conditions, medication use, and pregnancy.

5. Pre- and aftercare,

5.1. The client undertakes to carefully read and follow the pre- and aftercare instructions of Kurlz.

6. Cancellations and late arrival,

6.1. Cancellations or changes must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance by e-mail or adjusted online by the client.

6.2. In case of late cancellation or no-show, 100% of the amount will be charged.

6.3. Appointments will be cancelled if the client is more than 15 minutes late, and 50% of the amount will be charged.

7. Right to change for incorrect booking,

7.1. The client must check whether the correct treatment has been booked. If booked incorrectly, this can be adjusted in time.

8. Hair coloring,

8.1. In case of doubt or sensitivity, a patch test 48 hours in advance is recommended.

8.2. Results depend on hair type, structure, and history. Kurlz cannot give guarantees.

8.3. External factors such as sun, chlorine, heat, or incorrect aftercare can influence the result.

8.4. Kurlz advises the use of its own recommended products and step-by-step plan.

8.5. Complaints after leaving the salon can no longer be accepted.

9. Cutting & styling,

9.1. Heat treatments can entail a risk of damage.

9.2. Results of curl cutting techniques may vary.

9.3. The client is responsible for maintaining the cut and following advice.

9.4. If you wish to make adjustments, please report this within 7 days of your appointment. After this, the treatment is considered accepted, and free corrections are no longer possible.

10. Safety & hygiene,

10.1. Children are welcome under supervision. Pets are not allowed.

10.2. Kurlz is not liable for accidents or damage to personal property.

10.3. Treatments may be refused in case of skin infections, open wounds, or contagious conditions.

11. Personal data,

11.1. The client is responsible for correctly filling in data. Incorrect information can lead to not receiving appointment confirmations.

11.2. All data is processed in accordance with GDPR legislation.

12. Before and after photos,

12.1. During treatments, photos are taken for follow-up. These can be used for commercial purposes, unless otherwise indicated in advance.

13. Payments & rates,

13.1. Payment is made afterwards via cash or digital payment.

13.2. Prices may change; the rate at the time of booking applies.

13.3. Down payments may be requested.

13.4. Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months, are personal, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

14. Liability,

14.1. Kurlz is not liable for damage due to incomplete or incorrect information from the client.

14.2. Kurlz is not liable for loss or damage to personal property.

14.3. Treatments are performed to the best of our ability, without guarantee of specific results.

14.4. If the client deviates from professional advice, treatment is at their own risk.

15. Applicable law,

15.1. All agreements are governed by Belgian law. Only the courts of Antwerp are competent, unless Kurlz has different rights.

16. Acceptance,

16.1. By making an appointment with Kurlz, the client automatically agrees to these general terms and conditions.
